Guidelines for teaching activities of the second semester of the 2021/22 A.Y.

Tuesday, December 21, 2021

The Academic Senate and the Managing Board of USiena have confirmed that from 1 January 2022 exams and graduations will be carried out only in presence. It will therefore not be allowed to take remote exams, except for serious reasons ("red zones", COVID-19 positivity, quarantine or fiduciary isolation). For safety reasons, analytical procedures to allow the participation of students at oral exams, indicating time of the exam for each student, will be implemented, in order to avoid gatherings

Concerning the lectures of the second semester of A.Y. 2021/2022, the governing bodies have emphasized the importance of the in-presence activities, as a true characterizing element of the university experience.

All teaching activities - lectures, tutorials, laboratory activities - will therefore be organized in-presence. At the same time, if the epidemiological situation doesn’t change, lectures will also be given in a mixed mode, i.e. providing the simultaneous transmission in live streaming and/or by depositing the recordings of the lectures on the USiena-Integra platform.

We also remind that students who participate in exams and lectures are required to submit the so-called Green Pass. The control will be carried out according to the law.
