Research area: Control Systems
Robotics and Mechatronics Webpage Robotics is attracting a lot of interest in industries and more recently in social care. The main ability of robotics is that of supporting humans in performing tasks This research activity will focus on the most challenging issues of robotics: grasping and manipulation, mobile robotics, robotic teleoperation, huma-robot cooperation, visual servoing and medical robotics. Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field combining mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control and computer engineering. The main research activity consists of studying new methodologies to design efficient robotic devices which are safe, light and performant. |
