Study of embeddings of polar spaces, dual polar spaces and polar Grassmannians, with special interest to their nature as modules arising from the action of classical groups. Characterization of polar Grassmannians as projective varieties and applications to coding theory. Generalizations and applications of the results to geometries of Lie type. |
